Withheld Numbers

Hi, we have a BT landline and get our calls charged through Virgin Media, does anyone know if it is possible to stop withheld numbers or make the person release their number if they want to get through?
Would I contact BT or Virgin Media about this?

You calls arrive on BT - you will have to pay BT for the Anonymous Call Rejection (*227#) Calling Feature.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
