Well I woke up in the middle of the night in the most excrutiating from my back and legs. Despite taking the heftiest painkiller I have in the house. Yesterday I dismantled furniture and packed up cupboards, and obviously I did too much.
I woke up this morning, took more painkillers and crashed out on the sofa - couldn't make it back up the stairs to go to bed. And you know what? I'm taking today and tomorrow off!  Tomorrow is my little monster's birthday - she is five  - and me and her sisters are going to spoil her rotten (what's new?! ) so I am taking today to chillax, let my back recover, and tomorrow I'm just going to be a Mummy.
I'm panicking a bit because we get the keys this Friday, and I need to start ferrying over clothes and knick-knacks. But the pain is a reminder that I can only do so much. Yes, I have deadlines, but I won't meet them if I crumple in a heap from doing too much.
So a day of hanging around my forums, watching complete trash on tv, and enjoying some peace (the three of them aren't back til later tonight). So if I start talking about packing, feel free to slap me!Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

Merry, that sounds like a perfect day for you and your littlest one. And I agree about having to stop, you can only do so much - if you hurt yourself more you won't be able to do even the normal Mummy stuff.
Take care and enjoy your relaxing 'me time'BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500 -

Glad I don't have it - Virgin on Demand is bad enough, though there are still times I can't find anything to watch!!BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500

Ok, I have to laugh! The TV I bought lil Merry as a birthday present finally arrived today. And guess what? The seller sent it via Fedex wrapped in brown paper and sellotape, with a little bubble wrap over the screen   No box, no cardboard - just brown paper!!!
I'm just impressed with Fedex that it was working on arrival - now how to phrase that feedback?! :rotfl:Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000
