    This may be the case if you apply by mail, but branches have the ONE DOCument policy, and can create KYC records using just a UK passport, or a UK photocard driving license, provided that they have the full name of the holder and date of birth recorded.

    Statements to the contrary are usually just for prudence. No branch will turn you away. :)
