scottish trust deed was settled jan 2003

Options
i had a scottish trust deed, which after 3 years was settled on jan 2003, and which i have the discharge papers for.

i do believe my record has been wiped clean, as we are now 6years on.

but yesterday i received a letter from mackenzie hall, saying they have took over a Marks and spencers loan of £8465.01. this loan was took out 1998, and was for only £3000.00. This was part of my trust deed. And i was told that no creditors could now chase any money.

I was going to ring the company, but after reading some reviews, i believe by doing this it opens up my file again.

do i just ignore it? although i am frightened, they can raise a ccj against me, and that they can enter this on my credit list, and it starts showing up again.

can anyone please advise.
