Surprise Help!!!!

Hi,
It's my mum and dad's 30th wedding anniversary on the 31st of March and we have organised a week away for them. We have made a leaflet all about the location but don't want to give them just an envelope.
Does anyone have any ideas for giving them the envelope so that it becomes special.
All ideas welcome.:j

If you can roll the envelope tight, slip it inside a balloon. Drop the balloon in a really big box and fill the box with other balloons. You could put glitter and confetti inside other balloons. Wrap the box. Find two sharp implements and put each one in a box. Wrap the boxes.

Give each parent a small box to open, and then let them loose on the big box. The popping and rummaging and general chaos and mess is a lot of fun in itself, the only downside is that you then have to clean up.

  • Thanks SugarSpun, great idea. I will have a word with my brother and give him the ideas. We are sending them to Cheltenham to a cottage

Can you just put the postcode into a satnav and send them on their way with instructions only to open the envelope when they arrive?
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D
  • Unfortunately they don't have a satnav

  • You could make a gift wallet...

I make these to put gift cards and photos in for when I have a family or friends birthday/wedding/christening etc coming up.

Obv the front and colours would need to be adapted but you could do a nice cream or white folder and put the leaflet in one side and a nice photo of your parents in the other side??

    Just an idea for you....
  • Thanks princesspoppypo, they look really good. Are they easy to make?

Ive been to a party where they had a little wallet of money in. The surprise was that it was put in a huge box.
If that isnt exciting enough then you could have boxes inside of each other getting smaller like russian dolls. Then in the very last one the leaflet would be in there.
    Hope This Helps x

Could you buy then something small which symbolises Cheltenham? (Can't help you there I'm afraid, but someone might have some ideas) and then wrap up the leaflet nicely in a nice card?
There is no such thing as a free lunch. Its only free because you've paid for it.

Noone can have everything they want and the sooner you learn that the better.
