    I think its due to an ingredient that they used to be allowed to put in dog food in the 1970's which is now banned (it could possible have been domestos)..........but if anyone can shed some light on this phenomenon we would be grateful:A

    It was chalk. Though interestingly you are allowed (actually forced) to "fortify" white bread with chalk...

    Ahhhh Chalk, now we can both sleep tonight. I also heard that some bread buns contain plaster of paris:eek:

    Best to make your own I say just incase it sets inside you.

    I can still taste the fish and chips I had for lunch:o
