Long weekend in April - any suggestions?

Hi,
We're looking to go away for a long weekend in April leaving on the 24th April and returning on 27th April.
There will be 2 adults and we can get to Liverpool or Manchester airport pretty easily.
I assume it's better to get flights and hotels separately when looking for something like this but am open to any suggestions! Probably no further than Europe to keep the cost down, I don't want to go over £300 ideally.
All suggestions welcome and grateful for any help!
Thanks!

Have a look at Easyjet, they are having a 50% off sale for flights between 22/4 - 10/6.

Ryanair have some cheap flights from Liverpool to Carcassonne or Nimes in the Languedoc, South of France. Accommodation 35 euros per night (self catering on the banks of the Canal du Midi) Lots of sightseeing and wine! see France and Beyond.co.uk0

Poland or Hungary would be my recommendation. The Złoty is still in trouble, and the Forint isn't doing much better. From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.
Their books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.0 -
Head out of the eurozone for the best deals. Prague is an option, they use the Czech Crown. It;s not a long flight from the UK at all! For accommodation, you could do self catering to keep costs down. Try: http://www.holidaylettings.co.uk/prague/0
