low voltage lighting question...

I've bought fireproof low voltage lights for the bathroom but realise that perhaps I should have bought IP65 rated shower safe units....or does it not matter?
I have found conflicting information about the need for an IP rated unit 2.25m above the zones 1-3.
Any views appreciated.

No, they will replace the central (mains) light.0 -
Work as you suggest requires a part p registered electrician. He'd also be able to advise on whether you need different ones.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Low voltage - good move
Is the lighting RCD protected tho? I VERY much doubt it and yet it is a requirement.
