OWNHOME - Anyone with info/feedback?

I have my interview with ownhome next week.
I had an offer from Mychoice home buy but they only offered me a total of £130k to buy with and frankly, I would be living in the very roughest part of town. So I am hoping perhaps ownhome would offer more?
I earn £25k - anyone in a similar situation? It would be great to be given some actual examples of what people were lent and the restrictions.
And also - some detail about the telephone interview?
Thinking of going in with my partner in the hope of getting a reasonable amount but would prefer to go it alone if possible.
Anyone know how long from telephone interview to getting an offer amount?
Do they give you any idea down the phone of what price band to look in?
