Securing wireless connection

Hi i saw a thread about an unsecured wireless connection and thought i'd better ask for help as well i've got a vista and my connection is through acer enet management but its not secure my router is a dynamode wireles router ADSL + router i'm not computer literate so find all this quite confusing

You need to log into your router and go to the wireless settings then in the security options select WPA.
If you don't know your routers address you can try http://192.168.0.1 to see if it's there, usually the details are on the bottom of your router.0 -

What is the make of your router it normal says it somewhere on the router. You login thought you browser like you where visiting a website.0

It does not matter. Your router address may not be 192.168.0.1 it depends.0

I wouldn't worry about that, just log in and secure it if you can.0
