The Royal Opening of the Senedd is also on ITV1Wales from midday (also known as HTV to some viewers!)

There will be more coverage on ITV Wales News between 13:10 and 13:30 with the whole programme being presented live from Cardiff Bay at 18:00 aswell.

Just incase you missed any of the 'action' there is a round-up programme at 23:30 on ITV1Wales later aswell.

Happy St David's Day to you all!

PS Are there any Welsh-specific deals today?

    Leekee (traditional Welsh name! lol)

...Aberystwyth has a Constitution Hill too.

Pffft, had some horrible hail-snow mix just now, we were all absolutely freeeeeezing down by the river doing fieldwork, we got to leave early as it was just against all health and safety stuff...too cold, incredibly poor visibility, river too high/fast-flowing to do any work in. According to the instruments we had with us, it was around 1.5degrees, with wind chill of estimated -6

but, sun is almost out again, and none of the hail/snow stuck so its all just a bit damp now.

the hills a bit further inland and a bit higher up look to be covered in snow though, I WANT SNOW TOOOOOO! :rotfl:

I was at Aber for 4 years and it never snowed, not even once  even when our cleaner in halls was snowed in (she lived near Nant yr arian). But the year after I left my sister, who was in Carpenter halls on the seafront, sent me photos of snow on the beach and promenade  - that would have been 2 winters ago I guess. Hope you have better luck!

And of course happy St David's day everybody with a Welsh connection! :A

Does anyone know if the opening of the Senedd is going to be avialable to view on the BBC website for those of trapped in the horrific lowlands of Anglia that can't get HTV?
