This is just a stimulating demand sale to avoid them paying out because regular prices start falling, it is mainly off peak fares that will be reduced by up to 50%.
Some fares are highlighted in yellow and haven't fallen.
I checked a return to Barcelona copule of weeks ago and made a note of it

Today's 'sale' price is
Friday 01 May

More sensationalist 'journalism' ...Gone ... or have I?0

Indeed, a load of tosh.;)
I checked some flights earlier, all I can say is they are not Sale prices.0 -
Compared with pre-Easyjet/Ryanair prices they are...
Must admit I did a quick check on flights I'd booked last week - one of them was a couple a quid cheaper, but even at 'full price' still cheaper to travel several thousand miles than get the train to That Lundun and back.0 -
Flights to Mallorca have been cut pretty heavily. down to £12.99 one way on one.. wrong times for me however.0

Easyjet are hardly ever cheap, if you compare there flights to Ryanair's. However I've just booked flights to Amsterdam next month, and there about 60% the cost of BA - So a bit of a 'no brainer' Still cost £80 return though.0
