I sent a letter using the template from MSE to ask for a list of late payment charges since opening my account with them.

I have received a reply with list of charges enclosed.

The letter from them states that:
''Under the credit terms your statements are issued every 28days etc etc...We reserve the right to apply a default sum of up to £20 pounds each time you fail to pay the full required payment. We do advise you of our right to apply a default sum int he policy pages of the main catalogues that are issued''.

Should i go ahead with the next letter regarding reclaiming fee's or are they entitled to do the above.

    Any advise appreciated :j
    Thank you

    Hi hun

If you any documents on this, check them through, such as the terms and conditions.

However if your not satisfied with the response, then yes write back, until you receive the final letter, where they should let you know where you can take your complaint for further investigation, for eg: the financial ombudsman service etc.

I note you state charges, we can help all we can on this thread but you may receive a better response and some helpful advise on the charges reclaim thread above the PPI reclaiming.;) Think that may be the correct one.

    Good luck.
