Bradford and Bingley have just written to me advising of impending fixed rate ISA maturity with info about variable rate instant access account paying 0.10%. Luckily I have transfer out already in progress.
 indeed! Cripes, good job you do have a transfer in progress!

B+B response to my transfer request was to send a letter with 2 box options.

    1. Pay penalty as Fixed Rate doesnt expire until 7th April

    2. Cancel transfer

With statement that if no response was made after 14 days the transfer would proceed with penalty charged.

    I added a 3rd box " transfer out on 7th April" ;)
