One thing that occurs to me is that you are currently a council tenant, which entitles you to the 'right to buy scheme'. If I were you I would look into that scheme before giving up your tenancy - I know you dont like where you live now, but it may be possible to exchange to an area you prefer and then apply for the scheme which offers some nice discounts.0

i do have qualifications , he will not be an apprentice. i will have a deposit. i already said it wouldn't be wise while he was an apprentice. i was asking about the available schemes and if i was entitled to them .0 -

If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
