Credit Card & Stolen Items

Hi.

I bought a mobile phone 2 weeks ago. And it was stolen 2 days ago. Has i used a credit card to buy. Would my phone be covered for theft?

    If your credit card comes with a free theft-insurance policy, then it would be. However, I can't think of any cards that do, so the answer sadly is no.

    You're covered if you buy something and you never receive it, and some cards like the Natwest Black card cover you for accidental damage and mechanical faults, but none cover you for theft.
    You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

    Personal possessions cover from your home insurer would cover it or if you have an added value bank account it may be covered (if you registered the phone).
