Does anybody know where the best parking is for getting the Eurostar from Ashford?

Isn't there a car park there? How long are you going for?0

Hi, am going for 4 days, Friday to Monday. I assume there would be parking but I'm not sure. Couldn't find it on the Eurostar website.0

yes there is parking at Ashford International right next to the station with a walkway right into the station, when eurostar 1st started parking was free but alas those days are long gone & when we went a few years back (2001) it was about £5 a day
hope this helps
all the best

Either that or park near B&Q somewhere and get a taxi...0

£9.50 per day now at the official car park......0

JPR, do you have to pre-book it or can you park when you get there?0
-
no booking required, it's a five storey, pay on exit car park. Pay by machine or in person when you get off train.0

As modgit says, just park & pay. Have not been there for ages so cannot recall he streets around the terminal but I assume they clamp down on free parking. Was thinking about a hotel booking as we are only going for a couple of days but the local Travelodge doesn't have any £10 rooms for my dates (maybe worth a try for other dates?)
I also looked at getting a connecting train but three of us would cost over £30 return even though it's only a 22 minute journey. Crazy. 2 days in the car park £19 !!
Looks like it has to that at present.0 -
Compromise - find a small station with a free car park, close to and with a connecting service to Ashford. https://www.nationalrail.co.uk has a stations database that might help.
Perhaps not very secure as such stations are unstaffed.
Where are you travelling from, I can do a bit of research.0 -

From the Rye area. It's the early morning that seems to be the big problem (i.e. no returns available) but I will check out a station just before Ashford. Cheers0
