Not having a very good day actually - I tried to claim for some missing cashback but the link isn’t on my list of previously visited merchants, even though I definitely visited through them. And got a quote back from some vintage wedding buses I've set my heart on, and it's well over £1,000 - EEK! Now do we be sensible and get the boring plain modern coaches for £500, or the beautiful vintage buses from the 1940's and 50's?!! Ohhhh I am torn in two now! OH wants the vintage ones too, but we were supposed to be splashing out on the photographer and venue, and making everything else cheaper. Jesa Rose my wedding buddy - tell me what to do :rotfl:

Oooh thats a tough one as I would love the vintage ones too - I adore everything old and retro. Maybe you could cut down elsewhere or up your challenge here to raise the extra money? £500 for modern coaches sounds a lot - how many are you having? Is it worth the extra £500? If its something you have set your heart on its probably worth the extra but if its something just for your guests rather than you and OH maybe not  Your April total nearly covers the extra cost

If I can help you raise the extra money with motivational nagging just ask x;):D

Declaring my total for April as £301.36/£300
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

Declaring at £279.55 so didn't quite make it despite a last minute interest payment of 14p & credit card refund of 95p.

Still a LOT better than nothing. Well done all those who made their target & to those of us who gave it their best but didn't quite manage it. :T

I'm in for £10 a day in May if I can manage to find the thread... see you all there....

    I'll declare at £740.34 / £450. I'm so chuffed.

Hiphouse, thanks for your message, and I can understand how that can happen in some families. For this lady the cheque she gave me is actually not very much money, and she is generous to all of us "adopted Grandchildren".

I'll go for £15 a day again next month, but really need to get sorted with ebay.
