So target well and truely blown this month!!ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0

Thats a fantastic boost RuthieJane. I think this might be the first month I actually fail to hit the target I set, admittedly it's higher than any other month, and we were on holiday for 2 weeks in the month, but still quite dissapointed!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -
£14.24 cashback from Quidco and £1.34 from a Playtrade sale today
Flipping useless Finance Team at work did not get my overtime in on time so I have to wait until next month (grrrrr) really p'ed off as I was counting on it to hit my target! Might just be able to scrape through if my ebay buyers pay up in time.
Next month I might double my target as I will be waiting for that overtime and any I do this month too. Will have a think about it.
Purpleroses - are you going to do the thread again next month?

Well I'm really chuffed! Someone won an item on ebay for 99p but when they got here to collect it they gave me a tenner as they didn't feel 99p was enough.0

Hi Ruthiejane, It's fantastic to hear of such a happy relationship between you and this lady. I don't know the story behind your care of this older lady so I really hope I'm not speaking out of turn and I promise I do not mean to offend.
I just wanted to write and say please be careful about accepting money from older people where you've taken responsibility for their care. Clearly you've been caring for this lady on a voluntary basis, but sometimes other family members can hear about your windfall - and they forget that it's her money to do with as she wishes - and it can create friction and accusations. I thought I'd share so that you or others in a similar situation might be aware.0
