JesaRose - When we got married (Ok six years ago now) we had a photographer do it who did photography but not weddings profesionally (ie he did sports functions, groups etc and the odd wedding and he cost us £380 for 40 pics in an album and gave us ll the little pics too in an album. I asked why he was so cheap and its because he had no wedding insurance so basically if our wedding photos had been destroyed before they got to us we'd have had no come-back. We decided that if the pics were destroyed - no amount of £ could replace them and went ahead... and he was fantastic!
Its not for everyone but we were happy with the decision.
Ive heard of people who had albums of pics fromn friends and had a photography student at local colleges etc come and do some portrait ones.
It may be worth considering.MSE-ing since 20070 -
Evening all :hello:
Hope all's ok. I've not been on all week, seem to have been really busy in house, but looking around- it's not improved much so God only knows what I've been doing.:rotfl:
Anyway, I've got £98.69 in PayPal which I've not transeferred yet but will still count, and got another £180 coming next week, but will add that when it's paid.
Have a nice evening everyone xx0 -

Oh well. Glad to hear I'm not the only one with footie-mad OH! Aww I like having a wedding buddy :rotfl:Will PM you if I think of any more good wedding tips
:TYes please do - I got a new wedding magazine today as it had a big notice on the front about ways to save money on the big day so I'll PM you if there is anything useful in it
Nicki_Sue - thats a very good idea. No amount of money would replace those photos. I am opening a new shop next month with a celeb cutting the ribbon so we might have some other photographers there. Might be worth asking a few of them too.
I've made 44p today as I over-estimated postage on yesterdays Amazon sale. Also sold a boardgame on Amazon for £14 so will add that once P&P etc is done and I know what the total isNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -

How long did your Amazon payment take to arrive, Sallymander? I had an email on the 13th to say my money was on its way and its still not in my bank account.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
