Got myself another £4 from pc, need to sit and do some sorting as I have to start using ebay or something similar to clear some of my junk from home - in the last week I've aquired a camera and mp3 I don't particularly need.
My bank accounts are looking scarily empty now, think I'll try selling gift vouchers I get too for a while, I dont really 'need' stuff from amazon so I'll have to see if I can get the cash instead.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

  • Skintbuthappy - well done on officially becoming debt-free, fantastic!
Welshsaver - thanks hun, I had a lovely day off in the sun! Well done on the trampoline sale, that’s a fab boost for your challenge :D
Aspella - good to know Cashinco are paying out again!

For me today - Onepoll 60p, Lightspeed £2, and £10 from the scratch cards :D I am just 8 pence off reaching my April target now, which is fab considering there’s 9 days left. (Did get helped a lot by getting £150 for switching current account to A+L though - I’d only be halfway there if I hadn’t got that!). Fab to see so many other people have reached their targets already too!

Ours is the 10th July 2010 - we were also going for the week before but the church is booked for a concert unfortunately.

My bro in law pointed out that it was World Cup Final Day on 3rd so was very pleased we had changed it. As if we would get through to the cup final anyway:rolleyes:!

We'll have to swap tips on how its going - are you doing it the MSE way?

Yay, we can be July wedding buddies :rotfl:Good job you changed your date hun...if your OH is anything like mine he will be in the pub all Cup Final day, even if it's a really obscure team! lol. Ours was originally 26th June but had to change it - I had visions of all the men sneaking out of the wedding to the pub round the corner to watch the footie!

Unfortunately a lot of ours won't be that MSE-like, as we started planning before I'd heard of MSE. We've already tied ourselves into an expensive venue and photographer - I love the venue, but wish we'd shopped around a bit more for the photographer :( BUT everything we organise from now on will be as money-saving as poss, to make up for it :D What about you hun, have you got any bargains?

Attempting to pay off our debts! Balances Jan 2018 -
    Family member £3,700 - Virgin CC £1,000 - MBNA £1,700 - Barclaycard £2,500 (was £2,700) - Halifax CC £1,280

I've only got 1 quote for photos so far and its £1500! But I don't want someone trying to take my photo while I am busy getting ready so am going to see if I can pay someone by the hour for just wedding and reception photos.

My OH would be ok as long as it wasn't Spain or England in the final as he is Arsenal mad and adores Cesc Fabregas so would have to watch him if he was playing. His brother on the other hand

    cheers wedding buddy:D

One little Amazon sale for me today and some more postage to do on ebay parcels. Popping out to watch nephews footie game now so will add amounts later on this evening
