    Hi

I would love to give your challenge a go but would love some advice I have been reading your threads for a while now but not really sure where to begin.

Scratchcards sound good - do you have to pay anything to join them and if so which ones are best.

Any advice for a newbie would be very welcome.

    Thanks

£3 Boots voucher from GFK. Received tomato seeds from Daily Telegraph/Benecol thanks to just thrifty who posted this on the freebies board. Was going to buy tomato plants so saved £1.50.

  • Miss_keep_counting - glad it helped hun, hope you win lotsa vouchers! I’ve got enough for a redeem for the first time in ages too, so am pleased with that x

Nicki-sue - well done on the car! That’s even better if you were going to scrap it, great profit!

Kit1 - welcome to the site! With the scratchcards you have to put £10 of your own money in to start with, to set them up - but then when you've scratched off 1 card and won 10p you can withdraw your own money. Just leave the 10p in, and then you're set up to do the free scratchie every day. When you get it up to £10.10 you can withdraw a tenner and leave 10p in again, then start the whole thing over again :D

I've not made anything today as I got up way too early for bootsale 6am, bought lots of lovely bargains, went to church and booked wedding for July 2010

Oooh, what date? Ours is the 17th July 2010 - we had to schedule it very carefully so as to avoid the World Cup :rotfl: Lol x

Woohoo, my £100 A+L for switching my current account is in the bank! That means I’ve nearly reached this month’s target :D Very chuffed! It’s a gorgeous day again - and me and OH both have a day off work after working all weekend, so am going to forget about money-making and go for a nice walk or something! Hope everyone else is enjoying the sunshine xxx

Today £6.90 saved during shopping trip to Tesco - made up of vouchers used, whoopsie shelf and even some free tomatoes on the vine (they told me they couldnt be sold because they didnt have a price for them and that they were supposed to have been taken off sale - I had even asked the greengrocery assistant to move otu of the way so that I could get at them and the eejit never said anything. I told the cashier that I needed them for a recipe and the green ones that they had on sale were just no good)

Hi all, well my total is £414.79, I have totally smashed my target for this month and have still got quite a few mystery shops lined up. I am really tired though as I also work full time and trying to fit this all in is taking it's toll! But I keep telling myself it WILL be worth it in the long run! I cannot wait to be debt free - please keep me enthusiastic as at times I feel like sayid sod it as I am sooooooo tired :o
