Recently bought the sony cmt-cpx11 hifi which can also play mp3s.
However, just saved a mixture of wma files and mp3 files to a cd and it will only play the mp3s.
Does anyone know why this is and whether I can get round it?
Thanks.

you would need to convert the Wma files to MP3 format0

I think hellion's right.
Will only play 'em if it says it's capable of playing wma's in the instructions
dbpoweramp is a light and quick progam for conversion0 -
Nice one, thanks. And there was me thinking wma was just the normal format on a cd! :-[
Will give this a go.0 -
Thanks sra555, I was having trouble until you posted that extra bit ;D0
