Stand Alone Legal Protection Insurance

Hi does anyone know if its possible to get standalone legal protection insurance?

I would prefer to have this as a separate policy rather than being attached to home insurance.

Thanks

Is there any reason you do not want it attached to your home insurance?

Its just that we currently have two houses and I don't want to pay twice. However it may be that having cover on just one house is sufficient? In which case I can just renew one without the legal cover.

    I see, makes sense.

I googled "Standalone + Domestic Legal Protection" and it came up with this company.

It does not allow you to look at the policy cover so I cannot comment on whether its good or not although the USPs they quote look good but without reading the small print I cannot comment.

The broker providing it are a big company.

P.S If you are a member of a union they often include free for their members
  • You could get it on one house but it wouldn't protect you for claims against you if someone had an accident at your other house.
