Free Websites for Charities

Not posted in this section before, but I'll give a brief lowdown on my situation.

I'm a web developer who is looking go freelance, only problem is my portfolio is outdated and my current employer will not let me use any of my current designs in my portfolio.

So basically I need to get some sites in my porfolio by doing a bit of freelance work before I leave my job so that I can actually get some work.

I guessed Non-Profit Organisations or Charities would benefit this most so I'm offering to do a couple of free sites for such organisations. Updates and upgrades also considered. If you're interested then please PM me.

I'd just like to say a public thankyou to FreheitOverture who very generously donated his time and patience to me by providing an 'Action Tracker' element for my web site as part of his offer in the previous post.

I found him to be a very capable web designer and eager to help me out in incorporating this additional facility to my website. I hope and trust that this Action Tracker will be a valuable addition to his portfolio and I wish him all the very best as a freelance web designer.

This is still on offer for any charity looking for a website. I will happily take on any challenge, from basic text and picture sites, to dynamic database driven content like I provided for Mike's Action Tracker.

I have had quite a bit of interest (including an orphange in Kenya) although am still in the early stages with finding out what the client is looking for in each case, so if anyone else is interested then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

I am setting up a not-for-profit organisation to help people in Cornwall with their debt. I don't have a clue on how to set up a website and would really appreciate any help!
