I wouldn't supermarket shop online...not all the time, anyway. There is a charge for delivery and £5 is £5! But the point about having a list and sticking to it is good.

My tip would be, go to the supermarket half an hour before closing time. Pick up the discounted food - it is still within its use by date and you will save a lot of money, if you are prepared to be flexible.

Thing is Adi123, if you only look at general tips you won;t be making sure your household is saving the most that it can. The best way is to post an SOA on the DFW board. If you only want general tips you're better off reading around the site than posting a thread, and this board isn;t the right one anyway

Do I assume you don;t work by your reluctance to answer? You older kids really should be contributing. I moved out of home at 19 and was running my own household on my own wages.
