Why not download Firefox, it's better anyway IMHO
Keep IE though for updating Windows.

there's a site called oldversion.com which has old versions of programs. try firefox though, it is miles better than IE in my opinion. ive heard the microsoft website doesnt even work in IE8 unless its in compatibility mode! LOL!

dont bother with a system restore just unistall ie8 and download ie7 from microsoft.com again should be available still

one of the guys at work did this and just uninstalled IE8 and when he rebooted his PC IE7 was there as the default browser....
