Tell them no, They agreed to your terms and conditions when bidding and have no right to now ask for a reduction.
If they no longer want the item you could send a request to cancel it, and refund. But they need to agree to cancel the transaction so you can get FVF's back.If google doesn't know it, how should i?0 -
If you are happy that your postage costs are fair then just email and say something like 'sorry but I calculated my post and packing based on the weight of the item and amount of packing required and it was clearly stated in the auction'.
Then send them an invoice for the full stated amount and if they don't pay in a week open a full NPB on them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. YOU DON'T SAY what your postage costs are...
ARE they FAIR? What have you charged, and what will it actually cost you?
Tell them you live in the stigs and have to walk 10 miles to the nearest post office!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
After a message like that, I'd be sending it by recorded or special delivery at my own cost - it would not surprise me at all if the buyer claims it never arrived if it was sent without proof of delivery.
However - that still wouldn't stop them from making some claim about it not being as described, then getting a refund through paypal.
It may be worth offering them a full refund and selling it to the next highest bidder - or even just refund it on the grounds that they don't sound like the type of person I'd want to deal with.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
As a basic principle, if you bid you pay.
If you are happy that your postage is fair (not necessarily the exact cost of posting, as your charge does include packaging too) then I would stick to my guns.
What is fair postage is a subjective matter.
If, for example, it costs £1.50 to post, then £2 or so would seem fair, but £5 would not (assuming normal sort of packaging, etc).0
