Hi,
I need some advise I made and order over the phone with DFS, no deposit paid as all on 0% interest, on 19/3. I have now received my Sales Contract and Credit agreement and wish to cancel. I have just called and emailed DFS and been told that a manager will have to call be back re this cancellation. Am getting a bit worried now should there be any problems with me cancelling this order?????
Thx
Nat

This should help - quote last bit at them
Distance Selling Regulations
If you sell goods or services to consumers by:- the internet
- digital television
- mail order, including catalogue shopping
- phone
- fax
The key features of the regulations are:- you must give consumers clear information including details of the goods or services offered, delivery arrangements and payment, the supplier's details and the consumer's cancellation right before they buy (known as prior information)
- you must also provide this information in writing
- the consumer has a cooling-off period of seven working days. :T

The best thing with DFS is to wait until they have a sale on which they put on occassionally...0
