my plumbing dh says dont need a pump with combi boiler, you could get a thermostatic mixer shower, eg mira excel . mains pipe would be ur best option if u go for an electric shower which he says is the best option because if ur boiler breaks down at least u can have a shower lol., and if you have a combi boiler, tank in loft should be disconeccted. hth. because i dont understand one bit of wot he said lol. xx

Surely one of the main points of a combi boiler is that you do not require a tank in the loft. Exactly what is the tank that has been mentioned, supplying.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

    Precisely.
Exactly what is the tank that has been mentioned, supplying.
But there are two conversations going on at once on this thread concurrently. One concerning an installation with a combi boiler and the other without.

    Cheers
  • I have both a shower off a combi which is cheaper to run and a electic as a back for when combi packs up.
