When British Thieves (BT) refused to listen to my argument to not charge an excessive payment processing fee I told them were to go.
I cancelled my line rental, closed all dealing with British Thieves and now have nothing to do with them. They still have my details and send marketing literature frequently. I simply open the letter, put all the paper in the return envelop and post it back.
I prefer not to do business with British Thieves. If others joined me in this preference, and took steps to achieve it, British Thieves would have to change.0 -

Bear in mind all other standard landlines use the BT network and most of the line rental paid will go to BT.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

So how do you pay your bill? By cheque, standing order, cash or DD?
