Income Protection alternative

Does anyone know of an alternative to Income Protection (IP) or Critical Illness (CI) Insurance? I am a single mum on a low wage and rely on working tax credits to supplement my income. IP insurance will only cover 60% of my salary and not the tax credits. I have to work at least 16 hours per week in order to receive the tax credits. CI will only cough up if I am seriously ill. I would like an insurance that will cover my total monthly income if I cannot work for a period of time due to ill health that may not be covered by the critical illness list. Any advice would be appreciated

That isnt possible. The Govt dont allow it. The limit is there to make sure there is an incentive to return to work.
