hi, has anyone been to the golden sands in dawlish?

Its been a fair few years since i was last there but it was a lovely place (hence we are going back at the end of May)
Dawlish warren would be the best place, its quite a big site (lots of caravans and chalets) and the beach is a good walk from the site (though mostly downhill)
I made friends with one of the lifeguards there when i was 12 going on 13 (i'm the big 30 this year) and we still keep in touch so i have very happy memories of the place!0 -
I've also stayed there, admittedly a few years back.
Yes, use Dawlish Warren station.
Lovely area and beach, plenty to do, and you can walk along to Dawlish from there.0
