    Good morning all.

I am going to try and grow beans and peas this year, but am really worried about slugs as they have destroyed any crops in the past 2 years. I watered nemaslugs in last year, but haven't seen the result!?

I have sown some runner bean, french bean and pea seeds in my plastic tower and am hoping to get them big enough to cope with the onslaught. Although i think this year i may resort to slug pellets (organic ones). I have also built raised beds, so i am hoping they will be easier to monitor than what was just the lawn!
Thanks for all the tips, i will keep a note of them all, but just try to get something this year :)

Try some of the wide adhesive copper tape around your raised beds. It works for me.

Those peas looked interesting MrsMc - They may have to go on my next years list. (I'm already compiling one. :o )

Yikes - completely forgot about my sweetcorn and I've been dithering over whether to sow my celery as I've heard its difficult to grow. I guess 'nothing ventured, nothing gained.'
