Thanks to all for replying. Used taxis and buses no problem. Had a great weekend. Sorry, I hate the underground. Tried it 3 times, I am afraid I did find it like 'sardine can' conditions, sister in law got us from A to B and never had a clue where we going - much prefer being above ground. Only my personal opinion and not intended to upset anyone.0

I tend to agree. I work in London and use the tube for convenience but some evenings if it is a nice day I will often wait for a bus back to the main line station instead.
