Dreamweaver - What are the Chances?

Hi,
Am furious, old desktop went kaput a while back and had dreamweaver installed on it. I have the disk, so when I have gone to install it back onto the new laptop, it has asked me for the serial number - but my OH has thrown out the box whilst clearing out a cupboard in the office! Aargh!
I am fairly sure I would have registered the copy of dreamweaver on the back of installing it. Do you think Adobe would have proof of my registering the software and will provide me with the serial number?
I have a backup of the old PC including registry but I am fairly sure the serial number would be encrypted somehow.

If you have your details of when and where it was bought (and proof of purchase like a receipt or Bank Credit card statement). Contact Adobe and after a Fax or 2 they should give you the Serial number.Laters

Well I usually keep pdf copies of all receipts (I know I would have bought it online), but s*ds law says I didn't this time, I have trawled through my backups and can't find anything that rings a bell. I have also checked on my old email, but can't find a receipt that might have been emailed to me either (which is a real puzzle).
Will have a dig around paperwork as I am likely to have kept it at least.
Thanks guys

you could try Keyfinder Thing, it claims to recover serial keys from the registry, dreamweaver is listed as supported. Never actually used it so can't recommend0

It's all good. I logged into the Adobe site and they had the serial number listed under my account. Thanks goodness I registered!
