Can someone who has the account just confirm that online it shows up as "Halifax Current Account" and doesnt mention Reward in the title? This will be when they login to view their balance etc

Both of mine say Halifax Reward Account.

when you add the account online, it just shows as a current account to start with, by the next day (approx) it switches to "Halifax Reward Current Account"

Edit: There is hope yet, Bob.
God dammit! The main current account i have too doesnt even show up on their list of Bank Accounts. Says High Interest Current Account which according to other posts on the forum should have been phased out long ago.

Click Preferences -> Add/Remove Accounts. Then put in the roll number (D/...) and you should be able to add it in.

The High Interest account is now no longer available to new customers, but carries on as before for existing ones. This means you will get interest on the account, but not the £5 Reward. You need to phone Halifax to change it over (or get them to phone you).

High Interest Current Accounts still exist; they just aren't opening any new ones.

As for your current account which isn't showing up on-line - have you tried going into "Preferences" and adding it?

No hang on, what i mean is, i can see all my accounts on my homepage but my High Interest Account isnt on the Halifax public site as it has been phased out. I believe this should now be something else. I have applied to change it to an Ultimate Reward Account as im only getting 1.5% interest instead of a potential 2.5%.

This morning i applied for a new Reward Current Account (£5 one) and it is only showing as a Halifax Current Account.

That's right, in a day or two it will change over to Halifax Reward Current Account.

As rb10 says it should change over to reward in a day or two but one of my hubbys didn't and he had to call them to change it over.
