Sainsbury's - dine in for two for £5

Just noticed this when looking up some items on their website, Sainsbury's are doing their own version of the "dine in" meal without the wine for just a fiver - looks pretty good to me, will see if they have any in my local. There isn't much choice though - for instance there isn't a vegetarian main included.

http://sainsburys.co.uk/Great+offers/meal_deal/dine_in_for_a_fiver.html

Mains:
Sainsbury's Inspired To Cook Chicken & Leek Crumble 345g
Sainsbury's Inspired To Cook Salmon En Croute 380g
Sainsbury's Inspired To Cook Chicken En Croute 390g

Sides:

Sainsbury's Baby Potatoes & Garlic, Taste The Difference 400g
Sainsbury's Tender Green Medley 175g

2 Chocolate sponge puddings

Hope the links work!

    I've been Money Tipped!
This deal is a bit of a joke. In store they have the stuff spread out all over the shop.
I went today, I could get only 1 main 1 veg and no puddings, Took me and an assistant ages to find the locations of where everything should have been,

Sounds like your store is a bit of a joke then :p
  • There's no mention of Salmon En Croute on the website, it says Sundried Tomato and Olive chicken instead as the 2nd meal option.

could be a few reasonswhy that is, 1 is that it oculd be down to the manager of fresh foods or it could be that they just dont have the space to put all the dine in for 2 meals all together

The teeny Sainsbury here in Saltburn-by-the-Sea has the offers grouped together in the chiller. They have the limited choice of:

Sainsbury's Inspired To Cook Chicken En Croute
    Sundried Tomato and Olive chicken

    Sainsbury's Luxury Jersey Butter Mash
    Sainsbury's Tender Green Medley

    2 Lemon Cheesecake slices
    2 Raspberry cheesecake slices
