Renting a garage

I'm about to rent a garage to store some household items in that are currently in storage. When I spoke to the letting agency they are clearly unfamiliar with renting out garages and I almost had to tell them that I would need a contract, give a deposit etc.
I'm wondering if there are any contractson the net that I could download to protect me and the landlord?

You can write what you like in the contract. Insurance is important for you both to consider.
Standard AST terms won't apply as it is not residential ie no-one is living there as their home, so there is less protection in law and less requirements on notice periods. safety etc. This means that it is more essential to get the terms right.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Thanks Silvercar for the advice - any idea what I should include in the contract?0

If you type 'garage rental contract' into Google you'll find several companies offering legally binding contracts to use from £15 to £30 to download and use.
We rent a garage for £40 per month and I have to confess don't have a contract but it's from a partially sighted neighbour who has no use for it.0
