I am not sure if people are aware of this site, but anyways I will posti it. This site does scan your file, folder or anything you might download on your computer. I find it veru useful indeed.
virustotal (dot) com
Just upload file then send file, and it tells you do you have any virus in the file, folder etc.
Hope it helps to someone.
