Doniford Bay - days out & what have I done?!!

We have stayed there too - it was fine! We had a couple of little probs with the chalet - missing items which should have been there - but the staff were friendly and helpful and sorted out very quickly. Grounds were nice and well-kept, plenty of room for LO's to run about & play.
I'd go into Minehead on the steam train, and def. see if you can get cheap Butlins entry for a day for your LO - they will love it.
Dunster is a pretty village, and although the castle might bore your LO there are lots of nice walks in the grounds.
Wookey Hole is a bit pricey too, but there's often offer vouchers available, and it is quite fun for varying ages. Not been to the Tropiquaria for years but it used to be good.
I reckon a lot of these reviews which 'trash' places are misleading - in life you generally get about what you pay for, and with the Sun deals you often get a lot more! Not a regular 'Sun Reader' myself but been on lots of their holidays and never had a really bad one.
Hope you have a great time!
