landlord / letting agency feedback website

Are there any landlord / letting agency feedback website where I can check wheither there were any propblems with previous tennants' deposits, hidden problems with the property etc.?

    It sounds like you are looking for the sort of blacklisting site that has just been stopped for the construction industry!

    If you Google the agency name then you'll find posts and topics on public forums and any news articles that mention the name but I think word of mouth is the best way. People don't tend to have the same restraint talking about somebody that they do when putting it in print.

    Landlordzone has a whole subforum about letting agents. Many of the posts are complaints.

    I don't think you'll find much reviewing individual landlords.

    Have a look at https://www.allagents.co.uk for comments on letting agents.

    Just ask the LL if he can put you in touch with any of the previous tenants for that property or any current tenants in other properties s/he may have: decent LLs have no issue with this sort of request. For any tenancy deposits paid after 6 Apr 2007 the deposit protection schemes have to be used, if the property is in Eng/Wales.
