can someone see if i'm on the right tariff please?
I'm with Scottish power, economy 7 with no storage heaters, 1 bed all electric modern flat.
The flat's water heater is not on economy 7 timers, just heats up when any water has been used.
Our winter quarter from 10/2008 - 01/2009 was £388.
01/2009 - 03/2009 was £220.
Where are on a standard online standing charge tariff.
Any ideas? British gas WebSaver 2 seems cheaper on a single rate meter.
I think we shouldn't be on E7, as our night usage is only 9%.

OK, so how many kwh over the two winter quarters?0

(And what region are you in? Electricity prices vary.)0

North west (liverpool),
In the two winter quarters:
night: 376
day: 2455
total: 28310 -
Now you need to guess as how many kwh you'll use over the summer months. This will depend on how much heating you used. 2831/183 days is approx 15 a day. If you think about 10kwh a day summer, that would be about 4660 kwh a year. Use that figure (or one either side if you've used a lot of heating or hardly any) and see what the comparison sites say.0
