The turkish tea sounds great , I have a turkish friend so I shall ask her if i can buy it locally or if not see if she'll get me some next time she goes home.
Unfortunately adding something to black tea wont work as its the tea that has to go.
thanks for all the suggestions
I think the OP meant: make the apple "herbal tea" infusion, and then up the apple taste by adding more apple juice in the same sort of way that milk is added to (ordinary) tea.0 -

It is possible to make a very palatable 'tea' with any type of dried herb that you fancy.....just add boiling water to teaspoon of herbs, stir and leave to sit for a few minutes...mint is good, I like camomile and sage too....Weight 08 February 86kg0

I've found myself thinking about the turkish apple tea all day and I know why now... proper turkish apple tea (I had a friend with a turkish wife who used to make it) is made with black tea. However, the Hazar Baba stuff appears not to contain any tea so would be ok - obviously not all turkish apple teas are created equal!Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan
