Selling to Cex Online

Just a word of warning, I sold 9 x 1gb micro sd cards to Cex online the other day and they all worked ok. Today I received 3 x cards that they class as faulty. They were all fine and packed in bubble rap. Be careful if your trying to sell a few items as you may get less than you hope for.

Just a couple of possibilities (as 'faulty' might cover a few things...)
Could any of them have been fakes? (especially if bought off ebay)
Could they have picked up viruses from a computer? My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
cex are proper rip off merchants.
i run a similar shop and hear horror stories of what they offer people, and try and charge for certain things.
unfortunately its the first, and in a lot of cases the only place that people go to trade stuff in.
if i ever get anyone moan about what i offer them, i suggest they go to cex as i know they'll be offered less in most cases. on the rare occasion i get "but cex offered me more", but it then transpires that they didn't actually offer them cash, which is why they've come back to me.:grouphug:

Hi there, they were original Sandisk cards and were formated and used wiping software. I think they swapped them, I should have marked them with UV light pen.0
