I have no idea, and when I looked around most sites said:- don't bother to make your own because it's easier to buy them.
Anyway, a site that does have a recipe is:-

An asian supermarket usually has them fairly cheaply to fry yourself. On the same note I recently tried HM chinese pancakes - took 1.5 hours to make 18 and my chinese supermarket sells frozen packs of 120 for about £3. There are some things life is just too short for....
I would fry the poppadoms yourself though as they're much nicer fresh“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

I always keep a couple of packets in as the kids eat them like crisps. Just shallow fry them holding them down with a spatula as they curl about a bit.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

I buy the ones you fry yourself, but brush them all over (both sides) with oil, then pop them in the microwave for 1 minute, turning them over halfway.0

I always use these:

Just rub some oil over them & pop them in the microwave for about a minute. They're lovely.0 -
uncooked ones are about 40p in our local shops:)Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

You can get uncooked ones in Asian supermarkets for about 50p for around 20.

Save yourself some calories and just microwave them without oil. Works a treat.0

When I microwave them without oil, I put a sheet of kitchen roll underneath; I don't know why, but I think it absorbs any excess oil in them & makes them taste a little better!0
