I've only been a member for a short while, but I'm up to nearly 900 points now and looking forward to having enough for a £10 Boots voucher.
That's a fair comment to make, but in the main it's more an outpouring of frustration than moaning.
If all people are doing is clicking links and ordering vouchers then that's fair enough, you can't whinge about something for nothing
But what most people are frustrated about is signing-up for marketing newsletters or handing over cash to other companies (through product purchases or registrations) on the promise of points that never arrive
If you read back through the thread you'll tend to find that regular posters are weary about having to continually chase-up points they're owed, but admittedly you do get the occasional person popping up with a pointless rant (which does no good for anyone)
So as a new PB member, I hope you enjoy it and get as much benefit as the rest of us do. As great-grandpa Piggy used to say: "May your points be credited quickly and without hassle"0 -
Just 2stick my 2bits in...
i have been a member for quite a while and i :heart2:luv:heart2: pigsback (and all the people on here who have helped me gain many vouchers - &hopefully many more to come) :T
yey! :j0 -
Hi RedRum,
I can completely see your point, and just wanted to clarify that my comment about people moaning was purely aimed at people who only do the click throughs (like me) and not those who are purchasing or signing up to things
Love to all piggy backers xxDebt at Highest: £11,630.10 (May 2006) Debt now: £0.00 !!!!Married to the man of my dreams :A - Sat 2nd June 20070 -

If Darragh ever comes back, could he possibly look into this -- why do the same people keep winning? (Sorry for sounding like a broken record, everyone, but this really is starting to annoy me! )
(This is why I never play the lotto -- can't win once, let alone twice!)
yep, thats me.:o its the second time i've won ticketmaster, but hey i'm not complaining..........lol0 -
yaz just wondering if you entered the quizzes that you won at the same time of day. I have a theory but maybe I'm wrong. There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

As previously mentioned the closing dates on the Jackpots also need addressing. Surely you cant run a "book" that continues while an event is on.
The 6 Nations Rugby Jackpot is the prime example. 5 weeks after it started you can still bet on it!!!
CRAZY!!!!
I am sorry but you are talking nonsense, - of course you can run a book on an event when it is on, you can still put a bet on in a normal betting shop - in fact, several months after the champions league started, you can still bet on it
in the betting world, odds change, sometimes you bet on fixed odds, sometimes you bet on a starting price -
I get really annoyed with people on here whinging about the jackpots, this is not fixed odds betting, if you want that take your £1 or £10 and go down to the bookies and put it on there.
Otherwise, be a bit more coy, chose which jackpots you play, look at what other people have selected, if it comes up that you are likely to lose your cash, keep it in your account. It is not as if you have no way of knowing - yes maybe you are the first person to put your points, on, yes you may put them on early, and things, change, but live with it -
Pigsback do everything to help you
Closing date of Jackpot clearly posted
what you would win (at that specific time)
usually percentages of what people have chosen etc...
The pigsback-beating on this forum is beginning to get tiresome, with people moaning if pb.com miss their scheduled time by a day - I am waiting on cash to post to quidco two months after taking out a mobile account. I have chased it up, but if I miss it hey, I miss it.
just give over complaing about the jackpots and have a bit of fun with them. - enjoy pigsback, enjoy life and stop being so bloody miserable, it is depressing for the rest of us silver cloud lined half glas full kind of people0
