Thanks - don't think I would have spotted this one!
  • I am a bit disappointed with all the slagging off Pigsback is getting on this forum.

Everything we get is free, so enjoy it.

I am buying a few bits and bobs through dabs.com and have had about 70 quid in leisure vouchers so far with all the sign ups and click throughs and stuff

Last wekeend I went to see my fiance in Cambridge and went out for coffee with a costa voucher and out for a beefeater with 20 quid in vouchers and a free desert voucher also sent to me from pigsback, so a meal for 4 people costing 63 only cost us 28

I have always received my vouchers within 7 days of ordering them, everything I have signed up to has given me the points, all purchases through pigsback post up there that week - rather than waiting 2 months for quidco to pay.

I think pigsback is absolutely brilliant and although some of the criticism is justified some of it seems very unfair, for what is essentially a brilliant, fun, concept that provides a great service

Have noticed on the Northern Ireland site, there are "fly europe" vouchers for 1750 points, for a return flight to loads of destinations. Has anyone used them? Seems too good to be true ... so may NOT be.

No , Everything is not free. i lost £10 on bingoloopy when i joined up for that offer, and now i am chasing up pigsback for the umpteenth time for missing points. I also apllied for audible, and the terms and conditions on pigsback stated that you could cancel the trial at any time. Darragh's argument to me on the phone was that i should have used my common sense in realising that if i cancelled audible soon after i joined, the points would not be recieved, which is totally different from what the T&C was stated on pigsback.

My perception is that they are clawing back money, and fighting for your cashback is the norm. so please dont tell me to just enjoy the freebies, as i am NOT enjoying it.

I am awaiting £50 in boots vouchers from them, but i am not holding my breath to see if it comes. if it doesent come, there will be trouble from me! i will go through all the legal channels to get it sorted if need be.

Not many companies or people of that metter can get me so angry, as i am usually soft natured, but they really are sending me across to a negative place. i wake up stressed most mornings now, as i fear my £50 wont turn up because i have spoken out about how i feel.

    Good time, yeah sure!!

as i said above, some of this is justified

but some of it seems a bit harsh

I dunno, I've put about 100 transactions, including click through and sign ups through pigsback and recieved tens of pounds of vouchers without any problems

    credit where it is due.

If you read this thread you might get the impression that pigsback is rubbish, but in my experience nothing could be further from the truth, even quidco disappears into the background comparted to a 10% cashback site with 100% points tracking record (in my experience)

Ever thought u might be one of the lucky ones??? I've had lost vouchers and missing points but to be honest i really dont have the energy to chase for points when i did the thing correctly (i must have done i keep getting emails from the companies) i'm still waiting for visit london points but i dont see any point in chasing them if pigsback are gonna fob me off. Pigsback if my 50 points are that important to you, you keep them lol :p

I've had the same problem with Toptable - I registered but no Piggypoints - and no proof. I can't recall gaving registered before, and I've now started recieving emails, but when I asked Pigsback to check out where my points were, I was told my email address wasn't on their monthly list....

I'm also waiting (although not holding my breath) for another 50 points for actually booking a table through them as well....

Don't get me wrong - I'm not slagging Pigsback off - I think its a great site! I've only been a member for just over a month and (after winning a daily quiz :D ) have nearly earned enough points for a £20 voucher :D , basically for nothing :D:D . But it is a little bit annoying when you go to the time and trouble of doing something you perhaps wouldn't have done otherwise to earn Piggypoints that then don't arrive. That's all. :o
