Shiatsu is brilliant. It works on pressure points, like accupuncture, but without the needles - always a plus, I think!

It's one of the major complementary therapies; there are techniques I use on myself which are very effective for tension and back problems, (ie, I no longer have a back problem.)

f you've ever used Seabands for seasickness/motion sickness, they work by pressing on a particular accupressure point on the inside of your wrist. These have totally saved my life (not literally, but it felt like it!) a couple of times.
