Not being charged for Gas by anyone?
Options
Hi All,
I have just realised that i am not paying for gas at all. I switched to BG last year but then realised the guy that sold the deal to me hadn't told me the truth so, went back to E-ON. I had to write to BG & effectively give them notice.
The problem is, I have just been looking at my accounts today and to my shame realised i havent actually paid for gas to anyone since Nov 08. I usually pay by DD. I have had health problems since december so my hold on my life has slipped slightly!
Has anyone else had this problem? what should i do?
Thanks guys

You need to find out who will bill you eventually and work out how much they will be asking for. You might not get a bill for months yet, but will be given time to repay. You need to keep evidence that you have contacted BG and Eon to chase this up. Best done in writing and get them to sign as received.0

Write to both companies and find out whats happening , or you are going to end up with a horrendous bill...#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Hello Tat,
The first thing to do is bring this to the attention of E.ON, its important the reason for this is established. The longer it’s incorrect the bigger the bill will be when it’s corrected.
Depending on the length of time you were with BG, there may not be any issue with billing there. For example if you cancelled the transfer in the first 14 days of the move to BG they will not have to bill you anyway.
The bill from E.ON is going to be for around 4-5 months, as this is through no fault of your own (or doesn’t sound to be) then E.ON will offer you a payment arrangement to help with the payment of the bill. An arrangement will usually reflect the length of time there has been an error; however this may be extended if necessary.
